“West End School is a remarkable place, and the impact it continues to make in this community is truly immeasurable. The School has transformed so many lives, and that pattern of excellence will only grow stronger with the creation of the girls’ school.”

On April 12th Brown-Forman announced a 20 million dollar gift over the next 10 years to help underwrite the operating costs of West End School. 10 million dollars will be earmarked for the continuing support of the boys’ school while the additional 10 million will allow for the introduction of the girls’ school.
We are so grateful for the leadership Brown-Forman is providing with this gift. We will grow stronger and bigger than we ever imagined when we fully incorporate girls’ education into our curriculum.
On September 23rd the School kicked off a 10 million dollar capital campaign designed both to expand the campus and to build a classroom building for the girls.
A school which began with three boys in a modest house will now envision a 6-acre campus with over 100,000 square feet under roof, and an enrollment of 300 boys and girls. The Brown-Forman gift will truly lift the lives of hundreds of students. What a blessing!
