Alumni

West End School Alumni who attend local high schools have the option to continue boarding on campus. This allows students to remain in a safe and structured environment while continuing to receive some of the services the School provides while remaining on campus.

Athletics

The mission of the Athletic Department is to aid in the emotional and physical development of our students. We focus primarily on teaching and promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and athletic competition. Research shows that athletics at the elementary and middle school level help to foster team building skills, problem solving skills, self-discipline, and self-confidence. Through the development of these skills, we believe that our student athletes will become confident, contributing members of the school community. West End School offers Soccer, Basketball, Track and Tennis.

Music

West End School students are offered music lessons under the direction of Mr. Keith Cook through the Kentucky Arts Reach Program. Mr. Cook is a former member of the Atlanta and Louisville Orchestras. Our students have played at the Brown Theater, the Kentucky Center for the Arts, Grace at the Race, numerous churches, and many school functions.
