Substitutes at West End School will meet an amazing group of young scholars. We serve students Pre-K 4 through 8th grade. Our private school has a maximum class size of no larger than 15 students with a minimum pay of $125.00 per day.

Substitute teachers play a critical role in maintaining the continuity of instruction for students. The ideal candidate will be confident, professional, courteous, attentive and have good communication skills, with some experience working with youth a plus. Substitutes have the responsibility of administering the absent teacher’s learning plan while keeping students engaged and involved.

The position is a good fit for retirees, college students, part-time workers, stay-at home parents, and those with flexible schedules. West End School looks to develop relationships with longstanding substitutes that can provide a sense of continuity and familiarity within our school family.
